Tramontana’s third season kicks off with an exciting program of prophecy and mysticism.  “Songs of the Oracle” is a creatively woven exploration of secular, mystical, and sacred beliefs about the coming of Christ.  The powerful Prophetiae Sibyllarum combine the mystical texts of the ancient oracles - including the oracle at Delphi - with some of Lassus’ most daring harmonies.  Motets by William Byrd explore these same ideas from the pen of a Catholic in hiding from a Protestant monarch.  Join us for an hour of sacred mysteries, secular prophecies, and glorious singing!
